July 11: Philadelphia, PA/London, England
Tues. Today is departure day! You will board a wide-bodied jet at
Philadelphia International Airport for your overnight flight to Gatwick Airport, London. Complimentary meals and beverages will be served in flight.

July 12: London, England
Wed. A spectacular sunrise will greet you as your flight nears its destination. After clearing customs in London, you will be met by your tour escorts and board your deluxe private motorcoaches for your trip guided sightseeing tour of London. The tour includes such famous landmarks as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, Houses of parliament, Big Ben, and many more. You will arrive in time for dinner at Chelsea College. The evening is free.

July 13: London, England
Thurs. After a cafeteria-style breakfast, you board busses to take you to West Minister Abbey and Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guard. The afternoon is free for independent sightseeing and shopping. After dinner at the college, you have a night at the Drury Lane Theatre to watch "A Chorus Line."

July 14: London, England
Fri. After Breakfast, you board buses to the Tower of London. The afternoon is free to explore and to shop. After dinner, the evening is free and can be used to do laundry.

July 15: London/Belgium/Zwijndrecht, Holland CONCERT: Zwijndrecht
Sat. After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to a steamer in Dover for the 4-hour crossing of the English Channel to Zeebougge, Beglium. Board the waiting motorcoaches for the journey to Zwijndrecht, Holland. After dinner, you will transfer to the Concert Hall for your first performance.

July 16: Zwijndrecht/Madurodam/Schevening/Zwijndrecht
Sun. After a late breakfast, you will visit Madurodam (Miniature Holland) and Schevening (sea side resort) where you will have time to shop. The evenings will be spent with your Dutch families. You may visit the Kinderdijk area to see the famous windmills.

July 17: Holland/Cologne/Bonn/Rudesheim, Germany
Mon. Say farewell to your host family this morning as you board your motorcoaches and proceed across the Dutch farmlands to cross the Germany border stopping in Cologne to visit the Cathedral, to have lunch, and to shop. You will stop in Bonn, capital of the Federal Germany, to visit the birthplace of Beethoven. You will arrive in the medieval resort town of Rudesheim, situated along the Rhine River, in time for dinner. The evening is free to explore the active dancing scene.

June 18: Rudesheim/Dinkelsbuhl, Germany
Tues. Morning departure via motorcoach to nearby Dinkelsbuhl. There is a stop in Heidelberg to visit the majestic Heidelberg Castle and time for shopping. Traveling along the Romantische Strasse (Romantic Road) you will pass walled towns that escaped destruction during the wars, passing high ramparts studded with gates into the medieval world of gabled buildings and cobblestone streets. Soon you will arrive in Dinkelsbuhl, one of Germany's best preserved medieval towns. Check into your hotel and begin to enjoy this quaint walled town. After dinner, you will be presented a special welcoming ceremony to Dinkelsbuhl including the Dinkelsbuehler Dreigestirn, solo trumpeter of the Kindelsbuehler Boys Band, Markentenderin and Nightwatch.


July 19: Dinkelsbuhl, Germany
Wed. During your free time you will enjoy exploring and shopping in this medieval town. Be sure to visit St. George Cathedral and climb the walls and towers that enclose the town. An afternoon walking city tour of this ancient town will include at stop at the beautiful Cathedral of St. George and the City Hall touching upon the old and new sections of the town. Walk through the ancient gates to view the moat outside the walls. The evening is free.

July 20: Dinkelsbuhl/Rothenberg CONCERT: Schrannenfestsaal
Thurs. After breakfast, a morning rehearsal is scheduled. Departure for Tothenburg and a sightseeing tour of the Romantic Rothenburg with its ramparts and towers, cobblestoned lanes and 16th century houses. An early evening concert at the Schrannenfestsaal will be well received by the people of Dinkelsbuhl. Dinner will be after the concert with the evening free.

July 21: Dinkelsbuhl/Munich/Salzburg, Australia
Fri. Today we will travel south on the Romantic Road to Austria, traveling past Ausburg, the birthplace of Leopold Mozart, father of Wolfgang. Lunch stop is arranged for Munich with time to see the Town Hall and Hofbrau House. As you travel south from Munich, the magnificent Austrian Alps soon appear in breathtaking beauty as you near your home for the next two days, Salzburg. After dinner, the evening was free to explore the town.

July 22: Salzburg, Australia
Sat. After breakfast, you will have time to shop before beginning a sightseeing tour with local guide of one of Europe's most beautiful cities, Salzburg, admired equally for its buildings and its magnificent setting. We will visit the birthplace of Mozart and the sites of the Sound of Music. There is time to sightsee before going the Marionette Theatre to see the performance of the "Magic Flute." The evening is free.

July 23: Salzburg/Axams, Austria
Sun. Depart Salzburg in the early morning arriving in Axams in the early afternoon. Axams is situated amongst the towering peaks of the Austrian Alps overlooking Innsbruck. Accommodations in charming chalet-style guest houses for three nights. The afternoon is free to explore the area. After dinner, the town has planned a welcome concert by their Town Band.

July 24: Mt Patscherkofel, Austria CONCERT: Music Pavilion
Mon. The coaches took us to Mt. Patscherkofel in the magnificent Alps. The cable car will take you to the Olympic sites and then go on the chair lifts to the top. After dinner, a concert is planned at the Music Pavilion for the Musicweeks Festival. The Town Band will march in to open the concert.

July 25: Innsbruck, Austria
Tues. After Breakfast, you will travel through the soaring Alps to the capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck, set deep within the mountains. Stroll through the famous "Old Town", with its pretty shops filled with cowbells and cuckoo clocks. You will see the Olympic sites and ski jump in the surrounding area. After dinner, you will be treated to a Tyrolean Evening of entertaining folk dancing and music.

July 26: Axams/Liechtenstein/Interlaken, Switzerland
Wed. Depart Axams early morning crossing the Austrian border into Liechtenstein for a lunch and shop stop. You will cross the Swiss border into the majestic Alps of Switzerland to Interlaken. After dinner, the evening is free.

July 27: Interlaken/Jungfrau/Interlaken CONCERT: Casino Kursaal
Thurs. Full day excursion to Interlaken and the Jungfraujoch. This is the most famous excursion of all the Alps; catch the cogwheel train in Grindelwald; then travel literally behind the north face of the Elger before arriving at the summit at 344 m (11,333 ft.). There, visit the incredible Ice Palace and gaze at the breathtaking view. Venture up to the Observatory. The descent via the small village at Lauterbrunnen takes you through the valley of waterfalls back to Interlaken. After dinner, a concert is scheduled at the exclusive Casino Kursaal.

July 28: Interlaken/Montreux, Switzerland CONCERT: Garden Theatre
Fri. Following breakfast, you board the motorcoaches and depart through the Alps to Montreux, located by Lake Geneva. After a noon arrival, there is time for lunch before the early evening concert in the Garden Theatre by Lake Geneva. Formal photos will be taken at this time. Early check in time due to the late-night recording session scheduled for tomorrow night.

July 29: Montreux, Switzerland RECORDING SESSION
Sat. The entire day is free for shopping, exploring. sightseeing, and swimming. After dinner, you board busses to the Montreux Conference Centre for the recording session 7:00 PM-4:30 AM.

July 30: Montreux, Switzerland
Sun. The entire day is free for shopping, exploring. sightseeing, and swimming. After dinner, the Farewell Celebration will begin. Dancing, food, entertainment are provided.

July 31: Montreux/Rhinefall/Zurich/Philadelphia, USA
Mon. Board the motorcoaches for the trip to the airport in Zurich. The airline offers an excursion to the spectacular Rhinefalls at Schaffhausen for a view of the highest waterfall in southern Europe and dinner before the flight. Transfer and check in at Zurich Airport for the trans-Atlantic flight back to the USA.
