August 1: Philadelphia, PA/London, England
Fri. Today is departure day! You will board a wide-bodied jet at
Philadelphia International Airport for your overnight flight of Capitol Airways to Gatwick Airport, London. Complimentary meals and beverages will be served in flight.

August 2: London/Coventry, England
Wed. A spectacular sunrise will greet you as your flight nears its destination. After clearing customs in London, you will be met by your tour escorts and board your deluxe private motorcoaches for your trip to
Priory Hall at the Lanchester Polytechnic College in Coventry. The afternoon is free to explore Coventry. The College is across the street from the Coventry Cathedral - a magnificent modern Cathedral with a history of bombing during WW II. Lady Godiva was close by.

August 3: Coventry/Stratford-Upon-Avon/Warwick Castle REHEARSAL
Thurs. After breakfast, you will begin your morning sightseeing tour with a visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a guided tour of the Stratford Theatre, Shakespeare's House and Anne Hathaway's cottage before a visit to Warwick Castle. After dinner, you will experience your first rehearsal in a foreign country. After the rehearsal, the evening is free.

August 4: Coventry, England
Fri. After a cafeteria-style breakfast, there is free time until you depart for the official reception with the Lord Mayor of Coventry at St. Mary's Hall. The first concert is at Coventry Precinct (Mall). There is free time to choose a place to have lunch. A social evening with host families who will provide us with typical English dinners.

August 5: Coventry/Harwich/Amstelveen
Sat. After a very early departure, the buses will stop so that you may eat the packed breakfast provided by Polytechnic. You will board a steamer at Harwich for the 6-hour trip across the English Channel to the Hook of Holland. There you will meet your Dutch families and taken home for dinner.

August 6: Amstelveen/Amsterdam/Amstelveen
Sun. Meet at the Patrimonium for a full day excursion to Amsterdam that begins with a flower show and auction, and canal boat ride. After lunch at the Patrimonium you will have tours of a wooden shoe factory, and cheese factory. You return to the homes for dinner and the evening.

August 7: Amstelveen RECORDING SESSION/CONCERT: Patrimonium
Mon. Meet at the Patrimonium for the recording session at the Pnielkerk Church 9-3:30. After the session you visit the Rijksmuseum and have time to shop. After dinner, The concert is at the Patrimonium. The Amstelveen band also will play at the concert.

August 8: Amstelveen/Belgium/Paris, France
Tues. Say farewell to your host family this morning as you board your motorcoaches and proceed across the Dutch farmlands to Paris (6-hour) with lunch in Belgium. After a very unusual dinner at an exclusive restaurant, a night tour of Paris has been arranged.

August 9: Paris, France CONCERT: Eiffel Tower
Wed. After a continental breakfast, board coaches for a sight seeing tour of Paris including: Arch de Triumph, Saint Chappell, Notre Dame, fountains, Eiffel Tower, and more. The tour ends with a visit to the Lourve and a cruise on the River Seine. After lunch, your concert is below the Eiffel Tower! After an enthusiastic performance there will be time to climb the Eiffel Tower for those who dare! After dinner at the hotel, the evening is free.

August 10: Versailles, France
Thurs. After a continental breakfast, you board coaches for the excursion to the magnificent Palace of Versaille. Lunch is at a side walk cafe with the afternoon free to shop or sightsee. Dinner became a farewell celebration. The evening is free, come may go to the club Lido for the show.

August 11: Paris/Boulogne/Folkstone/London
Fri. An early breakfast will be served as your coaches travel to Boulogne, Belgium. to board the steamer across the English Channel for Folkstone Harbor and the summer accommodations of the Imperial College in London. After dinner, the evening is free.

August 12: London CONCERT: South Bank of Thames, Promenade Sat. After a cafeteria-style breakfast, plan for a guided sightseeing tour of London. The tour includes such famous landmarks as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, Houses of parliament, Big Ben, and many more. You will seeing the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace before going on a hydrofoil ride. A noon concert is scheduled at the Shell center along the Promenade along the South Bank of the Thames. After the concert, the chaperones treat you to a buffet lunch on the banks of the Thames followed by a visit to the Tower of London. The evening is free for the theatre and dinner arrangements.

August 13: Windsor Castle/Hampton Court Palace CONCERT: Lensbury C
Sun. The morning is free to shop, exchange money, sightsee, or experience the Underground. After lunch the coaches leave for Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace. You will travel to the Lensburg Club for dinner and the final concert of the tour. Formal Photos will be taken at this time.

August 14: London/Edinburg, Scotland
Mon. Due to an early departure, you will receive packed breakfast, for the all-day travel. You will be able to walk across the English Scottish border when you reach it. After arrival at Edinburgh University, a Farewell banquet will be prepared complete with Bagpipes. Awards will be presented.

August 15: Edinburgh/Prestwick Airport
Tues. The morning is free for last minute shopping. You will board buses for the 2-hour trip to Prestwick Airport. The flight had a stopover in Labador, Canada for refueling. Arrival in Philadelphia is about 9:30 PM, Philadelphia time.
